About Kindred Home Services — Detroit's Trusted Home Repair Experts
Trusted home repair and remodeling craftsmanship for the Detroit Metro community.
Our Story
Kindred Home Services started with a simple goal: give Detroit homeowners a contractor they could actually trust. Founded in Detroit by a team of licensed tradespeople tired of seeing neighbors overpay for unreliable repairs, our company was built around three commitments — honest pricing, communication that never leaves you guessing, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.
Over the years we have grown from small repair calls into full kitchen and bathroom remodels, but our approach hasn't changed. We still take the time to explain what's wrong, what it takes to fix it, and what it will cost, before any work begins. We know Detroit's older homes — their quirks, their plumbing, their electrical — and we treat every project, large or small, with the same respect.
When you call Kindred, you're not just hiring a contractor; you're working with a local team that has a stake in this community.

Why Detroit Trusts Us
Detroit is our home, and that shows in how we work. We understand the homes here — the historic character worth preserving, the aging systems that need updating, and the pride of ownership that defines so many of these neighborhoods. Every job we take on is a chance to earn another loyal neighbor, which is why we treat communication as carefully as the work itself.
From the first estimate to the final walkthrough, our goal is simple: deliver work you're proud to show off and service that makes you want to recommend us. That commitment is why Detroit homeowners keep calling Kindred Home Services when something needs fixing — and why they call us again the next time.
